Four Colors ４つの異なる色を融合することにより、さらに素晴らしい色彩が描ける。同じように、日本を代表するジャズ・フルート奏者４人のそれぞれの音色、キャリアー、個性のブレンドにより楽しく表現力豊かな演奏が出来上がる。アドリブを深く追求し、ソロ・アルバム２０枚以上を出したパワフルな個性。他方では、東京芸大、ハーバード大、NYCマネス音大で総体演奏を学び、様々なジャンルの有名なアーティスト（ハービー・マン、小野リサ、ミシェル・カミーロ、アール・クルー、香港交響楽団など）との共演を経てアンサンブルも成熟してきた。2005年にグループを結成し、そのオリジナリティーと調和を表す「Four Colors」という名前に至る。大好評のライブ演奏に続き、ファーストCDも収録。フルート愛好者から質の高い音楽を楽しみたいファンまで、幅広い層に支持されている。 Blending four different colors makes a much more beautiful painting. In the same way, blending the diverse tone colors, musical experiences, and personalities of four of Japan's representative jazz flutists makes for a richly expressive performance. The four members' powerful individuality underlies the depth of their improvisations, and has been captured on the 20 solo CDs they have already released. At the same time, their mature ensemble playing reflects their training at the Tokyo Conservatory, Harvard University and New York's Mannes College of Music, in addition to their playing experience with famous artists in many genres including Herbie Mann, Lisa Ono, Michel Camilo, Earl Klugh, and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. The originality and harmony they have developed since founding the group in 2005 is reflected in its name, Four Colors. Through their sold-out live performances, as well as through their first CD, they have gained a wide following among both flute lovers and fans of high-quality music.
